Waratahs are an iconic flower of the Australian bush and more than come to life in this lush towel design.
The six-color jacquard weave used for Ilford is woven in Portugal from 100% cotton, allowing for both the intricate organic design and the luxurious density and weight.
About the INNATE brand
Fiona Spence built her company Spence & Lyda into one of Australia's leading design retailers before selling the company in 2022.
Wanda Jelmini spent her career as head textile designer for the homewares branch of illustrious Milanese fashion house Missoni before it was sold in 2018. As niece of matriarch Rosita Missoni, Wanda played a key role in the global success of Missoni Home.
The pair met when Spence and Lyda became the exclusive Australian distributor for Missoni Home in 2002, and they immediately became friends and understood each other aesthetically.
Decades later, both found themselves at a pivotal point in their lives with great successes to date and yet feeling there was more to be done ... and with whom could they better collaborate. The result is Innate Textiles.
