About the BANKSIA Collection.
The story of Banksia is about the inspiration of the bush itself. Taken literally from the pattern of the Banksia seed pod, this textile is an epingle velvet that replicates nature itself.

Fiona Spence built her company Spence & Lyda into one of Australia's leading design retailers before selling the company in 2022.
Wanda Jelmini spent her career as head textile designer for the homewares branch of illustrious Milanese fashion house Missoni before it was sold in 2018. Wanda is the niece of matriarch Rosita Missoni and played a key role in the global success of Missoni Home.
The pair met when Spence and Lyda became the exclusive Australian distributor for Missoni Home in 2002 and they immediately became friends and understood each other aesthetically.
Decades later, both found themselves at a pivotal point in their lives with great successes to date and yet feeling there was more to do ... and with whom they could better collaborate. The result is Innate Textiles.
