Maison de Vacances is a French family business founded in 1995 by Michèle Fouks. The idea was born in the heart of Paris, in the Jardins du Palais Royal, with the first boutique nestled under the arcades of the garden, a stone's throw from the Buren columns and the Louvre, a mix of modernity and tradition. The collection is highly refined, using materials such as natural linen, cashmere and knitwear, with an emphasis on luxury craftsmanship: saddle stitching and hand embroidery are at the heart of the collections. Washing instructions
The more often linen is washed, the softer the fabric will feel. Linen is heat-resistant and can therefore simply be put in the dryer, but preferably do not set your program to cupboard dry or extra dry. Chlorine should be avoided at all costs when treating linen, as it affects the fiber. Go for a casual look and put your linen sheets on your bed without ironing them!
