The new duvets and pillows in the BRINKHAUS Luxury Lifestyle range combine the traditional value of first-class down duvets with modern technology. The fabric consists of the finest silk and TENCEL™ (lyocell). Lyocell has many characteristics in common with other cellulose fibres such as cotton and linen. The main characteristics of lyocell fibres are their softness, their absorbency, their great strength when wet or dry and their wrinkle-free nature. Silk is a traditional material for luxury fabrics: the flat surface of the fibres reflects the light in many angles, which gives the fabric a natural shine. Silk has a smooth, soft structure that is not slippery. Both materials are brought together in a fine satin weave, resulting in a very soft, very shiny and luxurious fabric. The filling is high-quality down from a grey duck: the down cluster is particularly soft and voluminous, with very high fill power and strong thermal insulation.
