TENCEL™ (trademark of LENZING AG and brand name of the product lyocell) is made from pulp of eucalyptus wood. TENCEL™ Lyocell is manufactured using a sustainable, closed loop, and environmentally friendly production process, in which the amount of water and chemicals used is reduced and no harmful by-products are generated.
By comparison, growing and producing cotton requires the use of large amounts of water and pesticides, and releases many chemicals into the water and soil after production.
Washing instructions
The fiber of TENCEL™ is very strong and incredibly soft, but it remains a rather delicate product. It is recommended to wash it at 30° and iron with great care at a moderate temperature to recover its shine and softness after each wash.
